Our Comper St Hubert blue fabric is a blend of cotton, silk, & Lumiyarn (a metallic thread).
Part of the set of designs by Sir Ninian Comper for M. Perkins & Sons, at the end of the 19th century.
Featuring highly stylized Strawberry flowers: Comper’s trademark.
It is called St Hubert because it is based on a pattern featured in The Exhumation of St. Hubert, by Rogier Van der Weyden.
